  • 2 fresh croissants
  • 1 cup chocolate chip cookie dough homemade or store-bought
  • 1 egg for egg wash

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Slice the croissants in half horizontally without cutting all the way through.
  • Fill each croissant with a generous amount of cookie dough and gently press it in.
  • Top the croissants with more cookie dough, spreading evenly over the top.
  • Lightly beat the egg and brush the tops of the crookies for a glossy finish.
  • Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden and the cookie dough is gooey in the center.
  • Let cool slightly before enjoying warm.

Notes

Experiment with variations like Nutella, Biscoff, or white chocolate chips. For a vegan version, use plant-based croissants and flax egg.
