Ingredients
  

Base Ingredients

  • 2 ripe avocados halved and pitted
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice or lime juice
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • salt and black pepper to taste

Optional Add-ins

  • 1 tbsp Greek yogurt or sour cream for creaminess
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro or basil
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes or minced jalapeño

Instructions
 

  • Scoop avocado flesh into a bowl. Mash with a fork or potato masher to your desired texture (smooth or chunky).
  • Add lemon juice, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine.
  • Optional: stir in Greek yogurt, chopped herbs, or red pepper flakes for added flavor and creaminess.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning as needed. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container with plastic wrap pressed against the surface to prevent browning.

Notes

Use this spread on toast, in wraps, or as a dip for veggies and chips. Add citrus juice or olive oil on top before sealing to keep it green longer.
