Instructions
Sift the matcha powder through a fine-mesh sieve into a bowl to remove clumps.
Add warm water (not boiling) to the sifted matcha and whisk in a zigzag motion using a bamboo whisk until frothy.
If using a sweetener, add it now and mix until fully dissolved.
Fill a glass with ice cubes and pour in the milk.
Top with the whisked matcha mixture. Stir gently for a layered effect or fully mix for an even blend.
